I have been practising in the different fields of Communications for the past 14 years.

As a multi-passionate person, I thrive in the variety of hats and skills that I am able to learn and perform. This led me to explore various positions – as a Production Assistant, a Content Writer, a Copywriter and Events Conceptualizer, a Social Media Manager who creates copy as well as content, a Business Coordinator, a Social Media and Content Strategist, a Digital Marketer, a Partnerships Officer, and Communications Officer.

 

I worked in the private sector for 11 years and have shifted to the Environment Development sector in 2021 during the pandemic. After witnessing the massive trauma and devastation brought on by the loss of biodiversity, climate change, and the global pandemic, I seeked to contribute directly to the mitigation of the climate crisis.

 

As I was working in an environmental non-profit in 2021 and 2022, I joined various workshops, trainings, seminars, and conferences that I felt would expand my knowledge as well as my passions.

The thread that ties all my experience in the past 14 years is writing and my love for the planet, which is a skill I have used in all my professional endeavors.

 

My desire to help led me not only towards conservation work in 2021, I was guided towards the art of space holding and facilitating gatherings that would help my peers and other environmentalists process climate grief and develop emotional resilience amidst community. Currently, I am volunteering in a volunteer-led NGO fighting for indigenous rights, which I believe is a critical factor if we are to work on climate change and environmental protection. I am also training to be a certified coach, and plan to integrate my passions and experience to support climate activists and campaigners as they/we navigate the protection of the planet in the midst of the climate crisis.
